Abstract

Our voice is the best way to express or communicate our inner feelings. Singing is producing musical sounds with the voice. Voice box may be regarded as the natural instrument, bestowed as a blessing to humans by God. This instrument mainly consists of four parts: - power source, vibrator, resonator and articulator. Many instruments consist of the first three parts but the articulator is the characteristic feature of the human voice. This article will help to acknowledge the importance and benefits of voice culture for a vocalist. Voice culture is the scientific method of improving, learning, molding and culturing voice quality for singing. The audience always likes to hear a soothing, melodious, loud enough, enthusiastic but steady voice; which much be dexterous and flexible. Voice also has great therapeutic as well as aesthetic effect.
