Abstract

The article is on Kala Utsav an annual event of NCERT & MOE for children studying at the secondary level. It is an important activity for school students and aims to identify talent in the field of different forms of Arts. Since 2015 the event has given opportunity to thousands of students, artists, artisans, and administrators to help them understand the unique aspects of diversity prevailing in every region of our country, India. Kala Utsav helps in the recognition of arts and conserves, preserves, and evolves art forms. The event is also unique for its inclusive aspect as the participants from the urban, rural, and remote areas of India, differently abled are able to participate and get a platform to showcase their talent.
